New look and feel
The refreshed design improves the user experience, making it easier to find content.
You can find content by using:
KidsHealth booklets
Larger content groups, such as the Childhood Cancer and Diabetes sections, are now organised in booklets.
KidsHealth collections
KidsHealth content collections replace our 'tag' pages, showing all content for a chosen topic. Click on the topic — the pill shaped button — at the end of each page to list all content for the topic.
New taxonomies and filters
New taxonomies are a way to organise content around a label. They allow you to filter the A to Z listing, and searches, by the following categories:
- Conditions & Treatments
- Keeping Kids Healthy
- age
- gender
- body part
QR codes
QR codes store the web address of the page you are currently visiting for easy sharing.
Look for the 'Get QR Code' button located in 2 places:
- below the page title or introduction
- at the bottom of the page content
Search using auto-complete suggestions
Auto-complete suggestions will connect you to your content even faster.
Type to start searching. As you type, relevant suggestions will appear below. You can:
- select a suggestion by clicking on it
- use arrow keys ↑↓ to navigate through suggestions, and press Enter to select it
- press Esc to clear your search
If the suggestions are not what you are looking for, select 'Use our site-wide keyword search'
